In Hong Kong, although there are plenty of pet grooming school, it is still a new skill and just getting popular in recent years. The coursework is relatively simple. As I know the material is basically copy from North America Dog Associate 1960s guideline. However, in mainland China, due to the severe competition in pet grooming industry, coursework is kept updating with international standard such as AKC, JKC. This is another reason why in last three years most of international competitions are won by people from Taiwan or mainland China.
